~Teeter- Totter~
Feeling repressed, and I cannot see the light
I know its temporary; and will not give up the fight
Feelings of grief, moments of excitement
Thoughts of darkness, moments of enlightenment
Sometimes I am so bitter, sometimes I am so vein
Sometimes I wonder if I will come out of this thing sane.
Some days are filled with happiness and sunshine
Some with a hollow numbness that I cannot define
Will there ever be an end, an end of a life once known
Or will it linger over me until no seeds can be sown
I sit and I wait, to dream I dare
What happens next is all up in the air
Just like a teeter-totter, my life is up-and-down
Some days I am in the air, some days I am on the ground.
